Halloween Banner

For this weeks giveaway it was Halloween themed.  I made this Halloween Banner and I love how it turned out.  I really wanted to put it on my hutch, out of reach of my 18 month old, but it was a little to long.  Wishing I had a mantle.

Tag

Silhouette Cameo does a weekly challenge and I am going to try to enter it every week.  This weeks challenge was to make a tag.  This was easy for me because I actually have a baby shower I am  going to tomorrow.  Perfect!

I used the 3d butterfly and a tag.  The butterfly was kind of time consuming to put together but I am really please with the outcome.

card

I entered a giveaway at Silhouette blog.  All I had to do was make something that would celebrate birthday's.  Silhouette is having their 4th birthday!  Anyways, I made this from the free shape this week.   I also bought a birthday shape that was half off.  I used the bear from what I already had.  So all I spent was .50.  I love that! Thanks Silhouette for the challenge!

Tootsie Rolls

1 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup powdered milk

Cook honey to 255 degrees (hard ball). Do not over cook. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Mix cocoa and powdered milk well and stir into honey. Pull like taffy until gloss is gone and roll in rolls.

These are so good!

Peanut Butter Chews

1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup corn syrup
2/3 cup powdered sugar
1 cup powdered milk

Put all ingredients in a plastic zipper bag and knead until blended. Add more powdered milk if it is not stiff enough. Cut into bit-sized pieces.

Testing comment: Fun for kids to make or to take camping.
